So happy with Desktop Edition!

I bought the Desktop Edition license for my Windows PC and it's fantastic! I needed to convert a bunch of PNGs to AI files and this tool made it so easy. The batch processing feature saved me tons of time, it was exactly what I needed. Everything worked perfectly and the software is super fast. I'll definitely be using Vector Magic again for future projects and telling my design friends about it!

Decent value on subscription

I got the Online Edition subscription when they had a first month discount, which was a nice saving. I was looking for a JPG to SVG converter that wasn't too expensive. The overall cost felt fair for what it does. I did wish the full-color auto-tracer was a little faster sometimes, but it handled most of my images well. Definitely good for someone on a budget needing quick conversions.

Good for vectorizing logos

I bought the Online Edition subscription primarily for logo vectorization. The JPG to SVG converter worked really well for a client's old, low-res logo. The full-color auto-tracer did a surprisingly clean job, much better than I expected. My only minor issue was that the vector editing interface felt a little clunky when I tried to fine-tune some small details myself, but for the most part, it's a solid tool for getting things vectorized quickly. Support was responsive when I had a question about file size limits, which was a plus.

So easy to use!

I downloaded the Mac Desktop app after seeing what it could do. I needed to convert some PNGs to EPS files for a project, and it worked flawlessly! The interface was super intuitive, and I was batch processing images in no time. It made what I thought would be a huge headache actually enjoyable. The vector editing interface was also surprisingly powerful. I'm definitely going to use this for all my future bitmap to vector tracing needs! It really helped me out of a bind.

Amazing conversion tool

Wow, this thing is great! I needed to convert a bunch of old PNGs to EPS for a print job, and the PNG to EPS converter here just crushes it. I tried the free trial first and was instantly hooked. It's so much better than manually tracing in Illustrator, took like a quarter of the time. Definitely going to renew my subscription and tell my work buddies about it!

Good for vectorizing logos

I purchased the Online Edition subscription primarily for logo vectorization. The process itself was quite straightforward; I just uploaded a JPG and it converted it to SVG pretty quickly. The image cleanup tool was helpful, though it took a little while to figure out all its settings. I did have a small issue with one conversion where a very fine line didn't come through perfectly, but overall it saved me a lot of time compared to doing it manually in other software. Their support documentation online was decent.

Desktop Edition is a lifesaver

This is my third time buying a Desktop Edition license, upgrading from an older version. I've always used Vector Magic for converting tricky bitmaps to vector for my design projects. This version feels even more robust. The batch processing is super helpful when I have a lot of images to get through, and it's consistently accurate. It handles complex images really well, which was a concern with some other tools I've tried. I just wish the initial download was a bit faster.

Good tracing, slight learning curve

I purchased an Online Edition subscription last month to convert some old JPG logos to SVG for a client. The tracing quality was really impressive, much better than what I could get with other free tools. The interface took a little getting used to for the fine-tuning options, I wish there was a quick start guide specifically for the advanced features. Overall, I felt it was a good investment for the results.
